I have a Vision W for 4-5 months already. Overall, I m impress with the playback and the numerous formats that it could support. I love to toy around with the functions it has to offer! However, the downside is the battery life. With ONLY 13 hours of music playback and 4.5 hours of video....... I might as well get a Cowon D2 device, which has 52 hours of music playback and 10 hours of video. I do hope that Creative PTE LTD release an Extended battery life pack for the Vision W.

Please TEST both devices before you open your darn mouth. Though Creative is well known for its sound cards, DOES NOT mean that their sound quality for their MP3 will be the best. Apple is well known for MANY things - e.g. their QUALITY in ALL of their products.

So those people who bought apple have to re-think what they got. Apple is well known for MANY things - e.g. their QUALITY in ALL of their products? There's something wrong with that statement. You are all idiots. Obviously , Microsoft Zune is the complete winner. Look at its ultimate casing and features the with Wi-fi. At the rate that Zune is going, it will do much more well than Apple down the road in 5 years time.
I don't just buy for its BRAND. I buy the quality. The price for Apple iPod is reasonable, while Sony's MP3 is WAY too expensive. Microsoft Zune is bulky, the other brands' have lousy functions.

In TERMS of SOUND, SONY is though better than Apple, I dare to admit it, HOWEVER, sound quality in Creative MP3 SUCK TO THE CORE.

Not a great comparison, the iPod & the Vision:M would be better, the iPod & Vision W are are in different classes. Of course the Vision W is bigger and bulkier, it's screen alone is about the size of an iPod video, these 2 devices really have different aims. With that said, the sound quality is without a doubt better than the iPod in my opinion.
I would prefer Microsoft Zune. In years time, they would change their way of design. Currently, it is in the early stage, just like the first gen ipods.
