So much freedom but don't know what to do..

Got a long holiday till 16th August. On the 10th, I would be in K.L (Malaysia). Got to start enrolment and prepare my books for my college year! Sad that I couldn't meet my friends before I go off.

Friends doing Old Level (Some sort of 'stress' test).

All my friends preparing very hard for the GCE O Level! They had to start memorizing formulae and plenty of revisions! Remember to sleep properly and take breakfasts! Good luck!

World: Getting Chaotic.

Look at the news headlines, its always a bad news. The world today is becoming uglier. Do u think that humans should be govern by a human AI? Since we couldn't govern our own people well? lol?
Just played a game called Deus Ex. Ya, i know its an old game, but it's still a big hit these days. Apparently, some conspiracies taking place within organizations like the UN and the FEMA, that sort of thing in the game. Its an RPG game (Role Playing Game). You choose where you want to go and how the game is.
Same as the real world, people are created to shape the world they want it to be.

China Ladies stikes again!

Yet another big news in the newspaper front page. China women come from all over china to other countries , so as to hang onto a cash cow. Their mission: Milk him dry (as defined by the newspaper itself!) But, can't help it, these ladies are desperate for money.

Computer Addiction

Just some news lately about youngsters in cybercafes. There were cases where students in school uniform hang out in cybercafes during school hours. That's really funny. Some parents have to knee down to beg their loved ones out of the cybercafe. That's really stupid.

Some news overseas, whereby some youngsters burnt down the cybercafe because the staff refused to let them in. That's crazy..

Luckily, there are some sane gamers around. So much for RTS and FPS games, but yet these gamers are able to control the games, rather than the other way round :D.

China : Friend or Foe?

Recently, I read a book called CHINA FRIEND OR FOE? . The book is really interesting and it explains lots of things about China , which many of you would not know. This is what is written behind the book:- China is growing phenomenally, with half the world's cranes currently on its soil. Its 1.3 billion people have around 300 million mobile phones and a purchasing power second only to the US, although, especially in rural areas, there is widespread poverty. Government censorship is a fact of life - with as many as 50,000 workers manning a firewall restricting citizen's access to the internet.

Yet few in the West know much about China. Popular press coverage is limited to stereotypes, the serious media to economics and business, and that's about it. What does China mean to the rest of the world?

Hugo De Burgh deals with the key questions : How is China managed? How are its relationship with its neighbours? How does the Party function? What do we need to know about Chinese Nationalism? Will the Chinese economy provide huge new opportunities for trade, or will it kill off our own livelihoods? How is China using its political and cultural influence? What about China's human rights?

Is China a friend to be welcomed or a foe to be guarded against? Accessible, straightforward and often astonishing, China: Friend or Foe? is the first popular exploration of one of the biggest issues of the next hundred years.
